Angela J. Adams
is a Senior Consultant with Risk Navigation Group, LLC. Her advisory services experience focuses on process re-design, strategic planning, benchmarking, best practice recommendations, technical training, case reserve valuation and data mining and analysis.
Angie has been involved in the assessment of dozens of insurer and third party administrator claim operations over the course of the past decade. Her data mining skills have been utilized in large-scale loss analysis engagements, including loss portfolio transfer engagements, product liability class action litigation valuation engagements and various litigation support assignments. Angie has been instrumental in the design, development and implementation of Risk Navigation Group’s proprietary claims auditing tools.
Insurance Industry Background
Angie’s background includes several years as an Account Executive with J. Smith Lanier & Company, an independent brokerage firm located in the Southeast and six years with The Travelers Insurance Company in various capacities. While with The Travelers, Angie directed marketing efforts for a wholly owned subsidiary claims administration operation, Constitution States Service Company.
Education
Angie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. She was a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, an insurance honor society and a member of The University of Georgia’s Insurance Society.
Industry Activities
Angie is active in the insurance community and has made presentations to undergraduate members of the University of Georgia’s Risk Management and Insurance program. She is currently actively pursuing her professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU).
