Alan R.Turnipseed, J.D.
is a Senior Consultant in Risk Navigation Group, LLC. He previously served as a Senior Consultant with IBM Global Services and in the Property & Casualty Claim Management Consulting practices of Ernst and Young, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (and its predecessor company - Coopers & Lybrand, LLP).
Alan’s advisory services skills are in the area of organizational design, business process design, and metric analysis. He has also performed independent valuation in several large-scaled litigation support assignments. Alan’s design of performance metrics involves requirements definition and implementation of eBusiness & technology-based solutions; financial valuation services including individual claim and portfolio-based assessments of loss and LAE exposures, case reserve adequacy; internal controls assessments and M&A due diligence activities relating to the assessment of infrastructure, business risk, value and business integration.

Alan also served as the National Workers’ Compensation Manager for Stone Container Corporation (now Smurfit Stone Container), a Fortune 500 corporation based in Chicago, IL. Mr. Turnipseed was responsible for the administration of the organization’s workers’ compensation program which covered 38,000 employees in 38 states. Additionally, he served as an attorney in the insurance defense and commercial litigation practices of Hinshaw Culbertson based in Chicago, IL.
