David A. Hart
is a Senior Consultant at Risk Navigation Group LLC and has previously provided advisory services as a member of the Casualty Claims Consulting Practice at Milliman & Robertson, Inc.
Dave’s advisory service experience has focused on comprehensive claim operation performance assessment, particularly in the areas of functional analysis, case reserving practices, independent valuation and internal controls for claim operations. Dave has been responsible for the build-out of claim operations for several start-up claim organizations, including two very prominent workers compensation third party administrators. Dave’s multi-line work includes general liability, personal and commercial auto liability, products liability, warranty and surety as well as workers’ compensation.
Insurance Industry Background
Dave has served in both technical advisory and management positions within Superior National Insurance Company and The Travelers Insurance Companies. Dave served as a Regional Vice President of Claims for Superior National and served as a Home Office Claim Examiner at The Travelers. Dave’s hands-on field operations expertise serves him well in assignments that require the design of core functionality and quality standards for casualty claim operations.
Education
Dave earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Risk and Insurance from Louisiana State University.
Insurance Industry Activities
Dave has conducted technical training and skills development seminars regarding property and casualty claim management for several years. He has also completed the examination requirements for Sections 4 and 5 of the CPCU designation programs. |
